Started on the bodywork but will have to decide what to do on the rear before I go too far.

Re: My 251 build.
A bit more of the bodywork done, approx 320 rivets so far (no superglue). It will be on show at Tankmod on the weekend if any active builders wish to look at it or ask for any advice particularly on the mistakes I have made (only a few).

Re: My 251 build.
I thought the kit rivets looked a bit big but looking at the original vehicle they are fine. See you Saturday.

Re: My 251 build.
They were the ones supplied John and if I went any smaller the holes would have been far too big.
A bit more progress ready for Tankmod needs another coat of paint though.

Re: My 251 build.
Just doing a bit of a mock up with the Flak 38.
I will cut the top section at the pencil line and the center part will be hinged allowing the gun to rotate. The two sides hopefully will open and close under radio control.
The gun will elevate and rotate under radio control and the rear doors will open and close under radio control. May even put a searchlight in the rear right hand corner as per the original.

Re: My 251 build.
Hello Dennis,
nice version you've chosen. It looks very aggressive with the Flak.

Hi Dennis,
looks good! The flak would be also my preferred type of SdKfz 251.
