This 222 is on it's third time build. No matter how tatty these kits get it seems possible to revive them. I am hoping to do some interior detail but not to the level of Jeff's beauty. I have fitted the motion pack but may not have full turret functions as I do not want to see the motors and servos for the gun. Also have the sound pack and smoker. Not much building this week as I got a piece of 222 lodged in my eye and it got infected. Had to get it removed at the hospital and it had started to rust so needed some rust removed also. Starting to get back to normal now.

Always wear protective glasses in future.

I mentioned earlier that I would'nt be starting this kit till I had finished my other projects. Maybe just a little bit more.

PauL, I would be interested in seeing the motion pack produced for your 222. I expect it's built with the newer armortek electronics.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your eye! Had a similar situation when I was a kid. Was it patched? What a pain.

I'll take pictures of the whole motion kit after work today for you John. Only just started my day so going to be awhile.

Here's everything in the box. Haven't unwrapped a thing yet, let me know if you need a shot of any part in particular and I'll get one.

Thanks Paul. As I expected you got the new version power supply module and auxiliary module. Everything else looks same. How will you fit the mug in though.

Hi Paul
Is that a SE charger ? Had a lot of fun rebuilding a 71 one with my mate back
in about 78/79.

Have fun with the 222

Base model, though I've got a 440 for it in storage. The car needs everything but I've got 90% of the sheetmetal I need, also in storage. Did most of a teardown the last few months. I prefer a base model for what I've got planned, don't want to mess up a nice R/T or anything.

This was the last shot I took. About done until spring time when I can finish the teardown and start cutting & welding.

I'll stop borrowing John's thread now.

Hope your eye is healing alright, or even better I hope it's perfectly fine now John!

No problem Paul. I will get back to some work on the 222 soon. Went back to my Tiger 1. Never quite finished the paintwork. Did some weathering so looks a bit better now.Hopefully get some frosty weather soon to harden the ground. Lots of heavy rain lately.

I will be bringing the 22 to the armortek open day in October so just want to finish some details. A long way from complete. Should qualify for the Guinness record breaking attempt. I need to make locking mechanisms for all doors an hatches.
