once again forum members thanks for the input, tracks fitted, main gun fitted, the front hatches are at steve winstones he's making the opening handels and internal detail for me, i altered the starter handel, thanks per, now the final effort to finish??, 3 years so far, thanks simon.
Simon
I know this has been a long build but the end result justifies the amount of time taken.
I hope you are planning to take this to Bovington in October as I am sure it will be a prize winner.
Regards
Steve
Absolutely stunning detail. Having a long term project myself, I can say its only a long time if you haven't enjoyed doing it and you look like you've enjoyed it I know what you mean though, its nice to have a break and move on to something new.
As Steve says its going to be one of the top models at the show in October.
many thanks all, i have enjoyed this build on the paintwork, the wheels are a bit repetitive and there's a lot more build detail you could do, its the size of the model which is tricky trying to cover a large area with detail and make it look convincing, not to turn it into a badly built toy, it's great to receive feedback and know others enjoy the posts, regards simon.
well this is the last of the build posts on the porsche turret, i'll keep nibbling away at the finish and overall look of the tank, i might even put some stowage on and perhaps a figure or two, thanks to colin barret, and especially to steve winstone 10 years of me pestering him for parts and upgrades, the wizard he is!, not sure whats next but will keep viewing, also thanks to all forum members for contributions, all for now simon manning.
