For reasons which I do not claim to understand, there is an issue sending e-mails to BT Internet accounts. Sometimes it seems the e-mails are delayed and then do arrive, however in some instances I believe they are not arriving. It is error 421.
If you use BT for your emails, when contacting us can you please include a telephone number as well and I can then call to check you have received my reply. Of if you have an alternative e-mail, include this as well.
I am sorry for the inconvenience and if any of your clever folk out there know any ways around this I would be pleased to hear from you.

I don't think it's just BT, I sent you an E mail on the 9th but haven't had an answer yet, I thought you were just ignoring me !!, I'm with AOL but it seems you aren't getting them. I will give you a ring tomorrow and find out.

I think that the problem is now solved. Thank you very much to Adrian for your help. Much appreciated.
However, less easily fixed is the volume of mail in my in-box, hence, sorry to Brian, I do have your email and will get back to you, and others waiting as soon as possible.
