I used to be a technology teacher and worked with the Lego Mindstorms system. Basically a programmable logic controller. I wonder how hard it would be to wire up their new EV3 System to this beast and automate it?

These things are dangerous enough when there's a human driving it

Heaven only knows what they'd be like if automated

Ok, I have another quick question. I you are running your tank around and the battery dies, can you pull it with a rope back to the charger or can't you free wheel it?

You will want to get it back to the charger before the battery runs flat plus the tank should run for a few hours on a charge

Easiet to keep a spare set of batteries charged and ready. The tiger has plenty of space for two sets. Will not freewheel. In an emergency you could remove the tracks then it will roll freely.
