Paint colours and where available to buy

Post by graham warr »

Can anybody help with the best colours to use for the king tiger to make it look authentic? What type of paint should I use and where can I buy it from?
Thanks, Graham

G'day Graham. My guess is the dark yellow, red brown & green as per Tiger 1 scheme.

Hello Graham

I use Tamiya XF range and Vallejo Air colour range of paints and airbrush them on. See my website or Facebook page.

Hello Graham,

I use also Tamiya for my tanks,
for the King Tiger i use Ts-3 dark Yellow ( spraycan )
and XF-64 red brown and XF-61 dark green, some people use XF-58 olive green.
I buy these in Germany, good prices.
