More airbush paint done - now the swingarms, idlers and sprockets are done with the basic primer DunkelGelb - Dark Yellow
Later this fall/Winther I will most likely repaint the tank in another color scheme - more of this later.
Next is to install road Wheels (need the bearing to arrive)and then get the tracks back on so that I can measure the ground clearance of the hull. Should be between 7 and 8 cm if I have gotten the angles right for this modification
I did make a plate to be installed across the hull in the center of the tank to get all Electronics onto 1 single removable shelf.
Need to get the stuff proper mounted - this will be the last change before reinstalling the Electronics back

Re: JagdPanther overhaul - Its back on its own feet again
Got the roadwheels assambled and tracks are back on and the tank is now standing on its own feet again
I did put in 4 x 20 Amp batteries to get the weight af the final project and the free height is exactly 8 cm. It was 5.2 cm before the rebuild which I found to Little.
NeXT is reinstalling Electronics and a test drive this weekend

Re: JagdPanther overhaul - this was how it looked before
and just to show how it looked before the change
I know its a matter of individual opinion how the suspension should be, but I like the new setup better

Re: JagdPanther overhaul - Taperlock challange
Thanks Pete
I will post videos with the test run og this build thread.
What cause me the most "trouble" and time is to figure out the layout of the internal stuff.
My intention is to have 4 x 20amp batteries in the tank as we do a lot of driving in terrain with no charge sockets nearby. The combined batteries gives me 40 amp which should bring about 3-4 hours of driving before going to charge it up.
However - it does give me a challenge with the internal layout, but this will be fixed this weekend as we are having a hobby exhibition here in Copenhagen first week in november where the tank goes on display.

Re: JagdPanther overhaul - it is ready
Got it all together and the tank is now ready for the hobby exhibition next weekend.
Still need to work out some minor details but this can wait.
It runs, it's noisy and it smokes like H. ..
We are ready to face the audiences
