Hi
Where in GB can I buy a RBJ as pictured? A look up on the internet produced nothing like the one shown.

I bought mine from China. We as a company deal with a number of manufactures out there. Try JINPAT Electronics co ltd.

Ian, it looks very compact and neat. Possible silly question but could you have mounted it the other way up, ie below deck level rather than above per your diagram? I haven't got that far yet, so may not be necessary but think it would impact less on recoil movement etc?
Have you as a company considered importing these? Mark may be interested in building them into future motion packs or conversion kits...............

I thought of the other way but as the antenna will be on the turret roof I needed to make sure there were as few joints in the co-ax as possible, this to reduce the losses through joints. Also the co-ax will be soldered to the antenna base SMA connector. It could still be reversed but more would protrude from the base of the turret. So I will assemble as is but see what can be done
As for import this could be arranged but 'till I check the system out is still a development item.

Re: Centurion 05
Back after a long absence RBJ fitted and tested works well gives me 360 traverse as many times as I like with no problems. To reduce the drag I have inserted a PTFE ring between the Turret and Hull interface. This reduced the current consumption on the traverse motor.
I have also rewired the Battery loom to locate the connector at the rear. This allows me to disconnect and charge the batteries without any effort. The loom is designed such that the short lead, Power module connection to the battery connectors, connects the batteries in series, 24v, and the charge lead connects the batteries in parallel 2 x 12v to suit my charger.
Had a test run, but, the controls on the transmitter were back to front so I had a run in with my Jeep Wrangler tyre, bent the right hand mudguard!!!
Next is to balance the Gun and the turret, will require a new platform for the RBJ and Elevation motor.
