Hi Phil
Coming along really well.
Will the drive motors go in with out seperating the chasis ?
It looks a bit of a tight fit.

Re: Sd.Kfz.7/1 and 20mm Flakvierling 38
Thanks Derek,
Yes the motors went in easily,Ive got some more photo's on my camera
that I haven't got round to getting on the computer.
If you have your motion pack aswell before you start,it is a good idea
to fit the little bush that supports the end of the motor shaft, into
the gear box recess at the early chassis stage.
Otherwise you end up balancing it on the end of your finger and poking it through the
hole in the chassis.
mine needed a bit of emery paper for a better fit.
Also the stearing servo might be easier fitting at the chassis stage.
Cheers

Re: Sd.Kfz.7/1 and 20mm Flakvierling 38
The rest of the electrics sitting on the sub decks, the exhaust system
still to go in,just had to take the screws out of the module covers,
clearance is nill between deck.
The clearance between middle sub deck and winch top bolts is a piece of 180
wet and dry
The black cable protector disguises all the bright colours.

Thanks John
I might spray just the one edge of the speed controller and amplifier module, with
the dark yellow,so that it doesn't stand out so much.
Cheers

Phil,
Your SDKFZ 7 is looking great. Very nice install with the electronics. Are you planning on the Armored cab? Beautiful job on the rear deck. I'd love to build one of these someday. Fantastic work as always.
Best regards,
Bob
