WHAT IS THIS?

Hi Everybody……

I'm trying to identify what this self propelled anti tank gun is below?
Is it German? don't think so looking at the wheels and tracks on it!
Is it American or British!!

My brother was passing through the Ardennes forest in Belgium last week and saw this standing at a cross road.

It's an American 155mm M109 howitzer of some type, but it's missing half the barrel

think it's the 105mm. My brother drove it when he was in the army

Following Adrian's and Peter's leads search '105mm M108 Howitzer' and I think that is what it could be?

Hi All,

Thanks guys for your input, I believe you've answered my question on "what is this"…?
I looked up one of my favourite web-sites Prime Portal http://www.primeportal.net and found
that it was a American M108 105mm Self-Propelled Howitzer. Should have looked
up this web-site first before I asked on the forum what it was!

However it's nice to see that if any of us where ever wanting to know anything about military stuff
on Armortek Forum, you guys have all the answers…..
