Re: How many 1/6th figure collectors are here?
Hi All,
"Wow", some great figures there guys.
Steven, I really like the 1930's two seater sports car I'm sure I have seen one for sale before are they from the 80's - 90's?
Pete,
I can see why you posted the Bailey bridge, that is some piece of work and it will make a spectacular diorama at shows , even if you only displayed parts of it. it defiantly wouldn't fit in my work shop
I agree with you on the Humber Scout car, it would be cool... it would look cooler on your Bailey bridge and I am running out of room so, smaller models would be great.
Thanks for the flattery mate . The Royal Engineers bomb disposal team came about after my Dad passed way last year. When I sorted out his things all sorts of memories came back, especially when I found the box set of Danger UXB with Anthony Andrews. so I just had to do them, I just need to do a diorama and photograph it.
AB64 helped me to identify the unit patch on John Firths arm, I couldn't find it anywhere but he found it in a couple of days and I got my friend Robin (One sixth scale king) to make them up for me.
Meant to say, if anyone want heads painting, look for Pete the painter on the Onesixth.co.uk.
Paul.

These were a late 90's Chinese toy company edition with only a limited run. The model is rc, but the standard electronics aren't worth anything. It is a wonderful piece through with lost of possibility'sPaul Wills wrote: Steven, I really like the 1930's two seater sports car I'm sure I have seen one for sale before are they from the 80's - 90's?

I believe those cars came with both silver and gold trimmings, I always thought I should get one but never did. A few years ago you could pick them up on ebay for next to nothing but they're now mostly all gone! Still they're great looking cars!
With so many of you guys collecting 1/6th as well as the vehicles we should maybe think about getting some links between OneSixth UK and Armortek. And I mean mutually beneficial links and not the one-sided scams practised by past clubs. We've got a few members over there who already own Armortek vehicles. I've got one of the very first Tigers and the Comet and doing my best to resist the 25 pdr at the moment, although if they bring out the Quad as well then I'm doomed, LOL!
