I created these sketches while I was studying the parts I wanted to upgrade for my kit.
And find it a good way of exploring, finding out how these parts work and look like on the T34s.

Just doing some more work on my T34/85 Turret and vision blocks for the Cupola and inside turret walls.
I've still to do the final weathering effects on the turret, before I start on setting up the motion pack stuff, electric modules, etc…..

Hi John,

Thanks for your nice comments on my texturing.

Well believe it or not I used 2B, and 4B Staedtler Mars-Lumograph pencils to get the dirty surface looks, which can give you a nice steel effects…so the end of the day if my T34 looks real, then I'm happy with that!

Yes I was thinking once I have completely finish building my T34/85 kit, and get her up and running for this spring campaign?…..that I would create a A4, or A5 landscape booklet on my build using photos and my rough sketches to make a book up and maybe hopefully share with you all some day!

Good to know someone else has made copies of the drawings, if they are good enough for reference, even better!….although it will take time to get my book designed and printed, but should be fun creating my experiences on building the T34/85 kit.

Hi Bodo & Fellow Forum friends,

I was asked by Bodo if I had drawings of my T34/85 Vision Blocks from above showing the hinges, but I never did come across any decent pics of the vision blocks with working hinges!

In the end I decided to make none working static ones that I glued to the commanders cupola and inside onto the turret walls.

But since I was asked by Bodo if I had pics showing the hinges from above I created a few more drawings of what they might look like if I had made working vision blocks for my T34.

Bare in mind these sketches are only my own versions of what the hinges might look like on the blocks, but if anyone else has good technical drawings I would be interested in seeing them!…I'm sure Bodo would anyway!

I was just having a go at finally adding my T34/85 Turret to the lower half as I had not seen them together for some time!
Although not finished yet as I have few more upgrades to add etc before I get mobile….!

This is the latest upgrade on my T34-85 kit. This time having a go at making a side hull headlight with working drawings of the model.

Followed next by making the Horn to add to above.

Hi All,

Had a go at making my Horn to add to my headlight set for my T34-85 kit.
Also thought I would leave the glass off the headlight as they would not have lasted long on the battlefield! being smashed, broken etc!
