As promised here are the first test assembly of the new parts, I will continue to update this thread with new parts as they are done.
Panther IR Scope.
This shows the mounting bracket I designed for the IR Scope, it is not possible to mount how the real one was and have it removable. When the IR Scope is removed for stowage all you can see is the three bolt lugs. With this method you can remove the IR Scope without having to remove the cupola.
This shows the base bracket for the IR Scope which is bolted to the mounting bracket with three nuts and bolts. Then the IR Scope is bolted to the base bracket with two nuts and bolts.
Here are a couple of views of the assembled photo-etched parts, soldering is required.
Here are a couple of views with prototype parts for white metal casting. Now white metal casting masters have to be made and put in molds. Then assembly instruction have to be written.
