FR30HX Speed Controller

Post by Donald Doornbos »

Can anyone supply us with a schematic of the FR30HX speed controller ?
Our output voltage to the motor relays fails (low) to close the contacts. Can these speed controllers be purchased in the US. Thank you. Don Doornbos

Hello Donald

These ESPs im my exsperience Have been troublesome and i have presonal exsperience of the relays welding closed and the Tank going over my knee.I would strongly recomend that you upgrade to 4QD They are 400% better than electrolise and you dont get the eratic jerky movement of the tank.with 4QDs you get a smoother ride and you get better control. Get Gill to give you a price to upgrade then you wont regret it.

Hi Don and Lee
I am selling a set of speed controllers FR30HX in the sales and wants. (Don't let Peter from Spearhead talking bad about these speed controllers as he rates them) . The speed controllers came out of my tiger and were very little used.
Thanks
Richie

Hello Richie

The electrlize ESPs from Armortek are different version to The Spearhead ones as they dont use extra relays as with the Armortek Ones. The relay i was talking about was the additional ones not the ESP itself. I still have Tiger track scars on my Knee

I have to agree with Lee , that the HR30HX are realy not the esc,s for an Armortek tank. The 4QD.s will give an ultra smooth control. and low speed control is almost beyond belief.
Haveing said that i am useing an HR30HX esc for turret rotation .
