I can see this could be vital for the Mark iv with the permutations of multiple guns and machine guns, mind blowing or what?

Re: can 2 LED's for 2 MG be installed from the same output
Oddly enough Steve, I have been thinking of ways to randomly flash several LEDs at once, from one trigger signal
Unless we can get Thomas to record the first MG sound as a single Vickers, and the second as a cacophony of them, I think it will sound a bit odd with just one sound playing as four blokes are supposed to be firing their guns.

Re: can 2 LED's for 2 MG be installed from the same output
Adrian - great development. I'm up for at least one.
Having heard the sounds on your Sherman card (which seem to be exactly the same on the PzIII sound module and maybe others) neither fit the .50 Browning Ranging Machine Gun on Centurion.
The .50 Browning in its RMG role fired three round bursts at a cyclic rate of fire of 240 rpm (which is very slow for most MG, deliberately so that the tracer of the three rounds could each be seen for ranging).
The .50 Browning in its heavy machine gun role in service today fires at about 400-450 rpm. So neither sound really fits.
The .30 Browning coax MG fired at about 500-600 rpm and the slower sound on the card probably fits.
Light MG such as the German MG 42 typically fire at much higher rates in the range 1000-1200. The quicker sound on the card probably fits that.
I'll post the .50 RMG User Handbook over on my Cent thread.
I did find this sound effect:
But it's too fast for the RMG.
Still looking.

Re: can 2 LED's for 2 MG be installed from the same output
Hi Adrian
here is my input to your questions
1) Is everyone using Steve Winstone's LED based machine gun barrels
I am using them in the front hull MG as well as on the top MG
3) How would people prefer the output leads terminated - servo plug, servo socket, bare wires, something else
I would prefer a servo plug version
cheers
Steen
