25 pounder update options?

Post by Dave Dibb (Armorpax) »

Hi All,

Parts for the 25 pounder are coming together gradually and I was womdering whether people would prefer individual packs of the various parts or a complete 25 pounder update kit with all the bits we make.

Please let me know your preferences.

All the very best to everyone for the coming New Year.

Best regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I have been watching your build up of various parts that you have created for the 25 pounder gun.
Super additions to enhance the Armortek 25 pounder kit.

I would be interested in the option of your complete 25 pounder update kit.

Have a great New Year when it arrives very soon!

Cheers
Ian

Full kit it is then. I've got two more bottom angles to do, the two spares boxes, the foot pedal details that go on the 3 handspike sockets at the rear, the 2 handspikes? and brackets that go on the right side of the trail and the recoil slide reinforcement behind the trunions. I think that will be it for the kit parts unless there is anything else worth doing that anyone can suggest?

Best regards

Hi Leon,

They would need to be metal and will take a while. They can be done but I am focusing on the main resin parts I can turn around fairly quickly first.

Best regards

Hi Leon,
I would also like the full upgrade kit. Do you have an idea on time scale? I have not started my build yet so they could be incorporated in without having to back track. Looking forward to the adventure. Happy New Year everyone. Waiting out the year before my MkIV arrives.
Ian.

Hi All,

In answer to the various messages I think if progress continues as it has been I could start offering the resin kit in no more than 2-3 weeks time. I will need to order resin when I start back on the 6th as thats running low at present but that normally comes in within a week.

A Happy New Year to everyone.

Best regards

Dave,
Looking forward to hearing when you start your production run. Would you be considering moulding some or all of the parts in white metal? I will be pulling my gun behind some sort of tractor and running it along with my tanks out doors. Some of the resin parts might be too delicate for this. I assume most of your detailing is aimed at a display model. Fantastic modelling skills you have demonstrated.

Leon, sorry, I had a senior moment when I addressed the earlier post to you. Blame it on all the beef 20 years ago.
Ian.
