Re: Kompact Kit - 25 PDR Field Gun
Beautiful model and excellent idea Mark! I love the idea a small kit to fill in the gaps (in between buying tanks that is). It looks like a superb model, I hope this type of kit does well. I'd love to see more of them in the future. Very nice packaging - I agree with the comment its almost too nice to take our of the box. I think the price is about right for this type of quality and detail. Way to go Armortek!

Re: Kompact Kit - 25 PDR Field Gun
Think this is a lovely addition to the Armortek line. Regarding the comments on German artillery I made my own scale Pak 43 for my Jagpanther. Has a gun mount as the original with a linear elevation servo and gear driven traverse on curved flat bed. Hopefully the details show in my attached photos. The falling block breech mechanism is functional.
The increasing number of models from Armortek are forcing me into new methods of storing the tanks! Keep then coming!

Sorry about that - all the headings are in reverse order to the pictures. However, a picture is worth a thousand words. Never too old to make mistakes even though I have been on computers since the 1960 era. Got to laugh!

The uk price is £498.00 + shipping, you can order direct from Gill just now. I think Armortek is planning on running these kits under a subsidiary company and therefore there may be a linked site to order on in the near future. hope this helps

That gun is truly a work of art
If only there was a company around who were geared up to make artillery pieces, we could all have those in our models...
Oh, and regarding the captions:

Re: Kompact Kit - 25 PDR Field Gun
Hi Mark & Gill and all.....
To support Armortek new KOMPACT KIT - 25 PDR Field Gun, I would suggest complementing this wonderful kit with a British Quad Gun Tractor and Ammunition/Fuel trailer.
I'm sure others who have ordered up this latest 25 pounder field gun kit from Armortek would want something like a Quad Gun Tractor to pull a 25 pounder Gun and ammunision/fuel trailer from behind it.
Cheers

Re: Kompact Kit - 25 PDR Field Gun
I agree. I ordered a 25 pounder today. I have a Hetzer, Stug and King Tiger so I lean heavily towards the German stuff. IMO, the Quad with ammo trailer is one of the most interesting pieces of allied equipment and something that I’d add to my collection. I’d prefer that over a Pak43.
Here’s my theory. Mark is pushing the 25 pounder as a “gateway” model. It’s inexpensive enough to fly under the spouse’s RADAR. Next comes the Quad. More expensive, but you can easily lift it and hide it. Of course not having the ammo trailer is like having a dress without a matching belt so that’s a no brainer. By then, poor customer is hooked and has no choice but to buy something with tracks to shoot at;-)

Think you have worked out Marks cunning plan. I was looking at the Tamiya kit at Bovington and thought it would be a possible.
