Hi Guys
Thought this might interest some of you. I had been trying to figure out a way to make the rifling for barrel for a long time, my thanks goes to Stephen White who gave me the idea when he painstakingly machined the rifling.
I have used pictures to show how it is done to save a lot of text explanations.
The annealing of metal is a good way to reduce spring back on brass rods and strips.

I have commissioned a project for a 1/13 8” Vickers howitzer. This is part if it. Dunno how he did it tho, there is no sleeve.

Thanks for showing the process of making of rifle plug.
It is a painstaking work, and is a beautiful product!
I think every tank model should have it in its gun tube.
