Reserve road wheel on rear side - how was it attached

Post by Steen Vøler »

hi all

as I have a spare roadwheel for my JagdPanther I was thinking of placing it on the back of the rear side.

How was it fastened on the real panthers? Have seen some ww2 pictures of panthers / jagdpanthers with the roadwheel placed there

Steen, a while back there were several postings on this and as I recall, the road wheel was mounted with three bolts. That's how I did mine on the turret rear of my late model Panther.

thanks Bill

I foud this picture buts its hard to see how its fastened. I will try with the bolts or a brass piece to make a fit to the side
