Hi Fredrik,

First of all it is SO nice to have you back among us again.
Hope things has solved for you now as we are quite a lot of members here thinking of you.

Those parts look amazing and I now regret a bit I didn’t jump in to the KT with you other Swedish builders.
Knowing Per and Stefan is behind those parts I know they are 100% accurate and functional.
Quite nice to see you folks going for a build tanks "the Swedish way", I like that! :D

Keep up the good work and keep the photos coming.

Kind regards
Kent

And Kent
Thnx for your concern, its noted.
Its really good and fun to be back at it again. THOUGH my workspace have shrunk to a minimalistic space.....i need to solve that haha..

What the hell!!!!

I felt boored and, i found a box with Mike Stannards Cupola. Blashes and splashes, prechious!!!!
I started filing and painting and i just couldent stop, ended up with ordering tons of more stuff!!!
Whats wrong with this hobby! hehe you get tunnelvision as soon as you start your engine up:). Weren´t i to sell my baby!!! well as i said its crazy.
The cupola is going to be superb i think, posting pictures soon, im waiting for the prisms from Mike so i cant put the optics together yet though.

I will continue to build as long as my steam is up ;).
Happy holidays to all of you all my dear tankers out there.

Grrr blood has been shed!!

The godamn trackpins tore my arm up while fiddeling with the KT.
Im having them redone!!
The bent pins shouldent even be there, im going to have em done in steel with real lock pins instead! As the original have.

Rather dangerous, and they tare up dirt and gets soiled in a way its not supposed to be.

And pics of cupola will prolly come up after weekend as i have to tile the womans room where she does the laundry :)

Cheers

Well as its christmas soon i thought a little package from Santa himself aka Mike Stannard would be right up the alley for Myself :).

Rear mudguards
Prisms
Fan Covers
And the big grill overcovers
Photo etched nut locks
Barrel Rifled Plug for 88 mm guns
Rear Hull Inspection Cover and Cold Start cover.
Might have forgotten some.

So i will have a pleasent xmas for sure.
Cupola is almost ready for paint and will come up when the prisms arrive so i will have you guys on hold until then :)yes yes photos will be posted when its ready :)
IT LOOKS AWESOME.
The rolled armor on it is superb and looks as it came out of casting spot on.
I did like Tim Bowmans painting of the Prism housing as in http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... =10&t=1114 so i did the same with just a little darker colors and they ended up really good.

Well all for now and merry x-mas to all of you.

Hi guys.

As i mentioned earlier ive been building some on the cupola from Mike.
And its not finished yet but her are some pictures.
Image
Cupola with first set of paint and armorcoating, weathering will be done later :).
Image
YES KENT AND PER........I didint let the paint dry so it tacked of on my thumb hahahha.
Image

The periscopes were both a pain and struggle......9 different coats to get them more or less accurate to bacelite color. Think i nailed it after some hours.
Image
Image
Scopes will be clearcoated to a smooth finish as they are a tad rough at the moment.

Hope you all enjoy and i will keep you updated on the progress, got all my final stuff from Mike but he forgot the rear mudguards hihi. But i know i will get them.
I just hope he gets better. As i feel for him.

Regards
Fredrik
