hi folks
First of all thanks to Gill & Mark for answer all my questions. You have both been very very helpful with this soundmodule
Now to the ine thing that I cannot get to work. My new armortek sound and speaker system is installed today.
The programming went well - all sounds was played, but the only sound playing when selecting any sound via the rotary knob on the Futaba is the motor start and stop.
Where shall I look - what could I have done wrong
cheers
Steen

Re: HELP New soundmodule - but same sound on all selections
Hello Steen,
Unless it has been changed earlier, most likely the soundmodule is still in its factory settings. This means that the way to select the sounds is set to "toggle switch".
Because you use the rotary knob, the soundmodule will only receive an instruction for the first sound which is motor start/stop.
You can change this quite easily by adjusting the "parameter settings" of the sound module. Take a look at the English manual that you can download here http://www.benedini.de/Home_E/Products_E/TBS5E_4b.pdf on pages 12 and 13.
Don't forget to go through the "learning" process once more, after you have made the adjustment.

Re: HELP New soundmodule - but same sound on all selections
Thanks Ad
This must be it. So I choose the 1 option = encoder and the rotary knob works.
I did push the setup buttom on the benedini soundcard and selected the sounds for the choices I wanted, running through position 1 - choose, position 2 - choose and so on. At the end the card did sound/flash the finish part.
However, when starting up - the first sound I could choose was not on position 1 but on position 5 and that was a mg sound and not the motor start. That was on position 6.
Strange- any ideas
cheers

Re: HELP New soundmodule - but same sound on all selections
Sometimes readjusting solves the problem
Readjustment of the Sound Module
Should you discover that after operation that model speed and engine sound are no longer synchronized, readjust as follows:
1. Switch on transmitter and the receiver.
2. Ensure the control sticks are in the neutral position.
3. Push the programming button on the sound module.
4) Wait until the programming LED flashes 3 times.
5) If the toggle switch control mode is selected, wait until all sounds are played and the LED flashes continuously.
6) Switch the transmitter and the receiver off, the receiver first and then switch the transmitter followed by the receiver on again.

Re: HELP New soundmodule - but same sound on all selections
Hi Steen
I have done battle twice with getting Bendini Sound cards to work with the rotary switch.
The problem I found is that the programming button needs to be pushed at a speed that is not too fast or too slow, the wrong rate means that what you want to happen, doesn't. T
However once you get the right rate it becomes easy, I hope this is of help.
All the best
Steve
