Stug conversion

Post by Adrian Harris »

Anyone else considered turning the StuG into a StuH ?

The StuH 42 looks much more brutal to my eyes and, apart from the 10.5cm muzzle brake, it should be a fairly straitforward conversion.

I hope

Personally no, but I understand the appeal it might hold.
The required changes would indeed be minimal.

Hi Adrian

Seems like it would be simple to do a gun/mantle mod that would easily be changeable from one to the other. ausf G to H.

Think the G is the coolest of the cool though. :D

Hi, The hardest thing to come up with is probably the muzzle brake, but if I recall correctly, not all had muzzle brakes. So, if all else fails you could leave it off, or at least if and until you did find something in the future.
