Hi all
I want to convert an Armortek smoker from 24v to 12v. I have the fan and just require a heating element. So if any ones got one for sale please let me know.

Have a look in Halfords or online for 12V car soldering irons, as the element from one of them should fit OK and they're usually only a few quid.
They tend to be 30W rather than the 50W of the 24V version, so the smoke output may be less.
Adrian.

Hi Adrian
Many thanks, I'll pop off into town ASAP and see what they have to offer. A little less smoke might be a good thing as it's for a SDKfz 7, would'nt want it to look like the motor's oil rings are shot would I?
Thanks again for the fast responce Adrian.
