Panther Road Wheel
Does anyone have a photo of how a spare road wheel was attached to the turret wall?

Re: Panther Road Wheel
Hi Bill,
This was all field modifications and different layout might occur but here are some photos of the Houffalize Ausf G from 116th Panzer Division:
LHS
RHS
The wheel was held by 3 threaded rods welded to the turret sides + nuts.
It is not bolts but rods and in the RHS photo it looks as the rods are screwed into the turret as well as welded.
Kind regards
Kent
