Hi all.
After a little advise, I have noticed that a couple of my road wheels a
Have very little or no tension on the suspension arm compared to the rest? Can I assume that the tension bars are slipping? If so are the grub screws to the tension bar under the inner deck? If so it looks like I will need to strip all the electrics inside!

Hi Dave.
It could be that the torsion bars are loose at either end, or that the swing arm is loose where it joins the torsion bar axle.
I'm afraid pretty much any work on the suspension will mean removing the innards.

If the swing arms are loose, I would suggest pinning. Like any vehicle, occasional servicing is necessary.

Hi Dave,
I had the same problem after quite a few hours of running. I had pinned mine prior to buiding. I had to strip everything out and found that the torsion bars were loose in their fixing holes even though I had Loctited the grubcrews in. Also what I had not done was ground off the pointed head of the grubscrews to make them flat. Managed to get away in the end by replacing all the grubscrews with flat headed ones, Im sorry Dave but there is no shortcut, it's a pity that Mark hadn't designed the system then that he is now using on the Tiger and the new Stug as it makes it a lot easier to adjust the torsion bars from the outside of the tank. I have noticed that my Panzer is starting to sag a little at the front as well but it's a job for the future.
