Auction buy!

Hi guys

Just joined the forum as I have just bought a Panzer III at a local auction. I have always been into radio control, from planes,helicopters and tanks. And i also Have a large collection of vintage Tamiya R/C models.

Anyway the Panzer was entered in to a local auction and I could not resist! It was originally sold at the same the same auction house over a year ago, it was sold after the original owner died. The chap who bought it lost interest when the tank stopped working? Anyway I have got it home and tried to charge the battery, but doesn't want to hold its charge? I can manage to get the engine sound working,but as soon as I try to move he tank forward, it cuts out. I am going to order two new batteries tomorrow.

The tank needs some TLC, so I am looking forward to stripping it down for a once over. I will try and post some pictures of my progress.
