thanks guys for taking the time to post, some more of the same, trying to make the model as real looking is part of the enjoyment for me, well as convincing as possible, thats the theory, hope you enjoyed the posts, regards simon .

Re: Jagdpanther build at last
latest instalment of building, not that far off the finish line i think, should be done by christmas, once complete i will tweak the paint as much as i can, i am often stuck at this point knowing where to go on paint detail, learning new tecniques would help, regards simon.

Re: Jagdpanther build at last
many thanks for the good feedback as always, after some enquiry it seems the jagd gun periscope that pokes out of the front d-shaped opening dose not seem to have a cover or hatch but seems to be open to the elements, unless somebody knows more, i have not seen a photo yet with a cover in place, anyway on with the paint, regards simon.

Re: Jagdpanther build at last
i went to the model show at yeovilton, the level of paintwork on the models is stunning, the attention to detail and cosmetic effects have to be seen, the visit gave me loads of ideas but it's how to apply them to these monsters, i'm going to try and sharpen the jagd, regards simon.

Many thanks for the good input, I am glad you liked it
I am fully on the paintwork at the moment, having been inspired from the model show.
