Hello Simon, I also follow your Jagd' build. I appreciate the detail in your photographs, it helps me with my build.
In regard to the latest photo' do the upper hull hatches have any outside 'handles'??. Or can they only be opened from the inside.....best wishes Mick

hello michael, i don't know the definitive answer to the exterior handels fitted to the jagd, in the three books i am using i have not seen any, late war jagds seem to be without any, kent wiik might know more, i will ask, regards simon.

Hi Simon and Michael,

No the JP upper hull hatches didn’t have any outside handles.
They was not build for fighting compartment entrance, reconsider the height of an JP so all entrance was to be done by the big crew hatch on the superstructure rear (that got a handle after a while)
Bailing out by the upper hull hatches was another thing and didn’t require any outside handles

Fantastic build Simon, looks 1:1.
Keep the photos coming.

Kind reards
Kent
It´s all in the details!

Here's some reference photos for other Jadgpanther builders of the rear deck of the Jadg at bovington. I had to get a chair when no one was looking to take the photos.

and this is how my rear deck is progressing, thanks for all the input.
