Post by Armortek »

For the last five years we have had held a 'Customer Open Day' here at our factory in Devon.  This year we will be having a break.  However!...........  we have some very exciting news for an event the following year.

We know that many of you, particularly those travelling some distance, combine your visit to us with one to the Tank Museum in Dorset.   We are therefore delighted to be able to announce that for 2013, the Tank Museum are kindly allowing us to have our 'Customer Open Day' at the museum itself!

The date will be 28th September 2013.

We have many details yet to confirm however highlights of the day will include;

Armortek Model competition, judged by panel of Museum Experts!
Access 'behind the scenes' and  to the Museum workshops.
Talks and Tours.
Photo opportunities for you and your models, along side their full size counterparts.
Your models on display to the visiting public.
Delicious Afternoon Cream Tea.
Return ticket to the Museum for the Sunday, as one day is never enough!

We will post  more details once they become available, however for now,  put the date in your diary,  book your travel and accommodation,  and we look forward to seeing you with your models at 'The Home of the Tank'

Hi Lee,

Armortek customers who bring a model will have free entry for the Saturday and Sunday. Final details of the day have to be worked through with the Tank Museum, however we wanted to make an early announcement to give everyone plenty of time to make arrangements.

Gill and Mark
A brilliant solution and also places Armortek right in context amoungst the big tanks! I am going to make sure the diary at work has this date firmly inked in.
On another note, those people who have families, Monkey World, just up the road is well worth a visit. Maybe for those who are hardy, Studland Bay might beckon!
Excelent!

Good news Gill. Hopefully the new buildings may be built and stocked by then. I understand building is starting in May this year. We were hoping to have a running ground alongside the new buildings but we will see.
