Re: Ultimate Panther/Jagdpanther Build
Hello everyone, started on the tyre fitting.....I have gone for the system I used on my Comet. Because the tank will not be used in anger, gentle run around, no hard driving. I applied M3 super strength double sided tape to the wheel. The rubber tyre is then carefully pressed onto the rim. Lovely clean finish....Mick

Re: Ultimate Panther/Jagdpanther Build
Hello Simon, yes I used this method to great effect on my Comet....I asked for advice on the Forum during the Comet build. Most prefer the Loctite adhesive, however, I have had a bad experience with Cyanoacrylate glues.
I would say that M3 super strength double sided tape is cleaner, quicker, and unless you drive your tank to the limit, the best option. I know others have used this method with success....Mick
