Duncannon Military Festival

On the first weekend in June a Military Festival will be held in the old fort in Duncannon, Wexford. South East Ireland (not far from Rosslare Harbour) This is a 2 day event involving re-enactors, military equipment and so on. Its a good show with a good barbeque and plenty of fun throughout the day. The organisers are hoping that they can get a tank club to put their models on display. The problem is that I dont know of any tank clubs in Ireland. Apart from John Fitzsimons and myself I dont know of anyone else from Ireland who has 1/6 scale tanks or indeed any other scale. Since I reckon this hobby is relatively unknown in Ireland I reckon there will be a lot of interest as the organisers want to put on a public display in the square at an advertised time.

I know its probably a bit of a long shot but if anybody is in the area or is interested in attending please let us know. It could do a lot of good for Armortek in Ireland and I think it would be a great day out.

It would be nice to get some allied armour on display also. I will do my best to clear thos dates. I know there are a few other Irish owners out there. Overseas owners will be made very welcome also.
