Thanks Adrian :D
I am just about to post the pictures of the rack fitted in the turret.
I have actually missed one small hinge bit out from the one photo that I
was following of a Polish interior.
I was hoping the Russians would have been a bit more economical and I think
it looked that way from a drawing in the T34-85 Osprey Book.
They will hold up to 14mm as they are.
Yes I hope some one might make some I dont have a lathe and my next part will
be the Turret back rack which holds 12 more.
So I would have 16 for my Turret.
I have a photo of the 76 amo but not the 85,is it the same but just bigger?
Yes Tim's Amunition was great looking :)
Cheers
Phil

Thanks Nick :D
I cut and formed some of the parts on Friday evening ready for soldering
on Saturday.
I was using thin galvanised steel and I followed that little soldering tutorial,I
think I came across it in the Tiger section.
Heating up and Putting thin layer of flux and solder on,file down a bit then
bit more flux clamp and reheat.
I was using an electric plumbers clamp style of iron which does the presoldered
joints,heats up to 520c.
I clamped for about 20 to 25 seconds and it did great,I still put a little run down
the edges to make certain.
When I made the hinges, handles and clamps none of the joints failed with all the
adjusting.
The little handle bit with 2 holes each end I thought would be the hardest, but once
I got one right I used that as a template.
RE Amunition
It would be great if you can help,at the moment I only have pictures of T34-76 Amo
but not to scale and I dont know how much different the T34-85 Amo was,I will keep
looking
Cheers
Phil
