Thanks Adrian. The wife and I had a look at it and came up with the idea.

I have been busy fitting the chequer plate, spraying and fitting in the wiring before joining the body to the chassis.

Hi Neil

Sorry about the wing nuts and damage deck plate, I did receive your e-mail about the wing nuts on 12.7.08, but as you seemed happy with them I did not respond.

Your mail. 12.7.08
Hi Mike, Just thought I would make you aware that 3 wing nuts, the thread hole is oversized so will not fit threaded stud. I can still use them by glueing them in place, so not a problem in this situation.
Thanks Neil UK

You purchased them on the tree and not cleaned and ready to use. I guess under the current circumstances of this post I should have followed up on this. All wing nuts have the thread cast in, but there are sometimes casting errors which effect the threads.

I have not received a e-mail from you about the deck plate being damaged, last mail from you was about which shipping company I used to send them on 5.10.10.

If you would let me know about the damage I will look into replacing them.

Really nice build on your Halftrack.

Regards
Mike

Hi Neal,
I like your build job on the M2,when you put the road wheel tires on the road wheels,
did they fit? On mine all of them were too small, the inside diameter had to be open up by 10th.
And putting the tracks on by myself took much work.I tried to remove the idler wheel, and pull track back to line up center of wheel. But this was hard to do.
So was your's easier to put on?
I have not yet had the time to finish it.I also have to finish my Panther,I want to get some nice parts to finish it out.
Just wondering about other's built
Thanks
Dan
