The Rocky Lift

Post by Rocky Sembritzky »

I was getting tired of moving the Tiger around with the jack and the lift, so I devised something to help me out.

I made this with the KT in mind, so it will work with the Tigers and the KT. It is 2" (51mm) aluminum with a 1/2" bolt in each end. The width from the outside is 10" (260mm) and fits nicely under the hull.

I used 3/16 steel rope and heavy duty rubber to protect the paint. Here it is on the lift table...awaiting the moment of the truth.

It works!

And down on the table....

For extra piece of mind I used a double cable which gives me the ability to lift 880 LBS (400 Kg) so I can lift straight from the table to the ground with out any worries.

Cheers,

Rocky

Very nice. Great piece of equipment. I'm still wondering how to drive mine off the table.
