Questions for Dave Bane

Post by leesellars »

Hello Dave

I hope you dont mind me putting this thread up as some of us may have questions about your Fantastic T34.
My Question is on the round engine hatch how many bolts go around it and what is the PCD. Please can you put up a photo aswell.
Thank you.

Hey I don't mind at all.... it has been pouring rain here for three days and the new tank barn is a muddy mess, so I haven't been able to go down there... I don't want to sink! LOL

I should be able to go down there tomorrow... I'll get pics of the rear hatch... I also will get some of the top of the rear deck...

When the weather clears I'm hoping to get her out and some video for you guys.

Sorry guys, I got the flu, and we didn't get to work on tanks till yesterday... SO while we changed the fluids in the T-55AM2 I did some work for you all...

Here is the pic of the rear hatch... all but two of the bolts are out, as are the rear exhaust guards because we just finished adjusting the steering clutches and brake bands:

Image

Here is a picture of the rear deck... you will note on my T-34 at least, there are handles on the rear deck as well...

Image

On the outside oil / fuel cans... the measurements are...

Length: 39.5 inches
Diameter: 14.25 inches
Circumference: 46 inches

Finally... Gun declination is - 5 degress, inclination + 21 degrees...

Thanks! Hope that helps!
