JACK

Post by Graham Ord »

Has anyone got the layout of the internal workings of the jack used on the Panzer IV? I have pictures of the outside appearance but would like to attempt to make a working replica.

I came accross this site while looking for jack information.

PART FINISHED JACK

Post by Graham Ord »

This is where I am up too. The jack extends when the handle is rotated. The handle position pawl can be flicked over against a small compression spring in the tube attached to handle to raise/lower and reposition the handle. I have yet to make and fit the safety ratchet, extending foot base, and folding part of handle etc etc etcImage
