Hi all
Here's the dimensions taken from my Tiger. Measured vertically from the hull's bottom edge and then horizontally to front and/or rear edges. This is to the center of the top hole. Once positioned, the other two holes can be marked and drilled.

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Hi John
Measure up the 63mm in the general area of the stop and mark a line, then measure parallel to the hull floor from where that intersects the hull front or rear. Although they are at an angle, if you are parallel to the bottom, 63mm up, the horizontal measurement is to that edge(front and rear).
Hope that makes sense. Sorry if it's confusing.
Best regards
Tim

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Hi Tim and every one placing those beautiful bump stops. So let me say first of all I hate to know things more precise. Sorry but it is the case here in placing the bump stops correct. The measure ( distance ) from the bottom of the hull to the top bolt of the stops is equal - correct so fare. The distance itself is scaled down from original : 68,8 mm. The bumps are precisely verticaly mounted on the original.
Please take my appologise. I had the feeling I should give this information for the builder interested.
Best regards Roland

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Hi Rowland, so are you saying that the original top mounting hole on our chassis is in the correct position to bolt the new bump stops on to?

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Thanks Tim and Roland.
Off to France at the weekend so will probably not get a chance to fit them till I get home which will be just in time to miss the chance to attend the open day. Argue among yourselves about positioning for a while and hopefully the correct position will be decided on.
What's with the black background. I will go blind.
Looks like lots of new features.

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Hi Robin,
long time no speak. Sorry, I do not know the original Armortek measurement for the top hole since my tracks are in place and measuring is not possible ( I have tried ! ). The mm's I gave are scaled down from original and not from Armortek. If it's the same dimension as on the Armortek first supplies you only can see how accurate this kit is been made.
Will I see you at open day ?
Best regards Roland

Re: Tiger 1 Bump Stops
Just measured mine. 66mm from base to centre of top hole. I like the higher fitting. 68mm sounds good. At least you can almost see that lovely detail.
