Panzerkampfwagen IV and V side by side

Post by Tim Bowman »

Hi everyone

I know this is probably old news for most everyone here but with the Panzer IV getting closer to a completed state, I am amazed at how BIG the Panther looks next to it. So decided to make a quick comparison video. I'll be filming some more of them rolling together soon.

Also worked on some secondary electronics on the Panzer IV. The vision port is operated by a switch on the transmitter and crew and MG movement will all be independent and random. The driver will be seated lower when finished as if in his seat.

Kind regards
Tim

They both look great. Real inspiration for future Panzer IV builders. Now back to work on the Tiger.

The drivers visor is tool cool! Great work!

I was amazed the Panther is bigger than a Tiger 1 as well, big cat!

Thanks guys for the comments,

John, the Tigers electronics are out of the box and I'm getting the motion pack sorted and fitted (even if temporary) is next on the list for the Tiger. Then the deck and rear deck detailing.

With the weather like summer here finally, one more video of the Panther and Panzer IV rolling by. Until I can get them both to a proper setting, my sidewalk will have to do.:(

Tim,
I really like that last video, great results. Too bad you cannot photoshop out the cars! One could prob paint a backdrop pretty easily though to block out the cars (commision your kids)

Fantastic work as usual!
