Nice details Simon, more amazing as you progress. I think you should paint the hull too, I'm not a fan of the bare primer for a combat tank. I like your camo pattern much better, but that is just me! But it definately looks the part as made up from spare, surplus and combat salvaged parts! Your weathering is the best! Keep progressing and posting pics!
Kind regards,
Bob

Hi Simon
One wild paint job but boy it looks good! A 'one of a kind' beauty. Not to get ahead of your current project but is the Jagdpanther next on the list? Would love to see what you do with that one!
have fun at Tank Fest. Wish I was there.
Best regards
Tim

Re: panther build.. at last!
Simon,
Wow incredible details my friend. Your weathering and rust treatment is the best I've seen. I like the chalk markings on the hull, very authentic. Great looking model, very convincing "one of the last ones made".
Best regards,
Bob

Re: panther build.. at last!
rear hatch, not perfect but it does work, the real thing sits on an angled bracket so it stays horizontal when opening and closing, if i can work out how to machine these parts i will improve it, a small mill is required or access to one. thanks robert and jeff for the positive input, regards simon.
