Here are some pictures of the inside of the turret. As usual I make pictures only after finishing this device. Hope the pictures shine a light on how I did this.

I have made a shell out of some left over brass pipe. The tube from which the shell ejects is made from the same brass, but with a bigger diameter. From all the small leftovers you collect after modelling for years the triggering device was made. Another "leftover" is the Afrika Korps "loader". I will try to find him a descent uniform.

In the middle you can see the trigger which is servo operated. The ejection of the shell is spring operated. I can easily reload without opening the turret lit.

Hi Guys,

While making this device I overlooked a tiny detail..., it was to long

so I couldn't turn the turret all the way. This has been correct now and I took the opportunity to take some detal photo's. Enjoy watching,

Once the loader is dressed he will return to his spot. Hope these pics will make it more clear.
The animatronic commander is now also able to turn his upper torso slightly. The angle in which the servo turns the body is less than I expected. All due to the max movement of the servo. I tried different positions of the servo horn and hook but all with the same marginal effect. It is however enough.

Three functions of the commander and turning of the torso are controlled by a independent four channel servo controller from Servo City. More expensive than the ones supplied(on request by Churchill Creations), but also very reliable. The last function is controlled by the transmitter. I have another receiver in the turret.

I experimented a little with the two receivers activated and switching between them through the transmitter. I guess it worked but one empty receiver battery corrupted the testing. It turned out that I could operate sound on program one while excecuting turret operation on program two. That should not be possible on a 2.4 set. If any of you who operate more than one receiver, and I know some of you do, like to share the experience, that would be most welcome. Thanks for watching.
