Casting Numbers

Post by jhayday »

I have seen several posts where builders are adding casting numbers to items, where can I get these?

Assistance appreciated

Hi John

I used Slaters Plasticard, they do a few sizes just Google them, or you can find some here on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Slaters-1102-2mm- ... 2645wt_905 not sure what size you will need, it is all dependant on where the number goes.

To find the actual casting numbers, you will have to search through loads of books on your specific build.

Hi, I'm currently adding them to my Tiger 1. I got them from squires tools. Here is a link.

Good price. Quick service also. I use mainly the 5mm. Have not found use for the other sizes yet. Cut from the sprue. Superglue in place. When set go over with some Mr. Surfacer.
