Jersey tour this year.
For those that know me the tumour has been removed successfully and my pronosis is looking good.
Wifey and I will be doing the Leger tour of the channell islands this year especially Bergerac country. No precise date yet but will, as usual, take as many pictures as possible.
Regards to you all.

Wonderful news Stewart
I've just spent three days working on Jersey, and will back there three more times in the next few months.
The bad news is that apart from daily journeys in taxis, I have no idea of what the island is like
Adrian.

Hi Stewart
Glad to hear Leger tours is booked you will visit some great places including the Channel Island Military Museum owned by my mate Damien a lot of collection unique to the Islands [inc Guernsey, the backward Island].
Anyone else finding themselves in the Island pop in to the local gunshop in St.Helier where I work, for the last 20 years. As a result shooting a big part of my life. still got semi auto rifles and pistols, a great life.
Regards
Graeme

No news yet Graeme.
Many years ago in Blackpool our local shooting club wanted to build a rifle range but we didnt have enough money
At that time the army were building a brand new barracks at Weeton which had enhanced security due to Pira activity. I called in one day, to discuss security routes to and from the camp, and the CO recognised me and the chat resorted to security and weapons. He asked how things were going and I told him about the impending range etc. He told me to follow him and there was a huge pile of t and g and 1/2 thick mild steel. My eyes lit up like an xmas tree and he said "Have you got a transit van as all this is scrap"
Three van fulls later we had the begining of our new range.................
On completion my mate had the first shots with an S&W 38 special and I unloaded a 9mm German Luger. It was brilliant and our range became very popular for over 20 years. Great days.
Regards Stewart.

Just heard that the Red Arrows will display on the 8th.
