ive tried to collect as many parts pre-made for the Panther to save on time. Ive fitted steve winstones rear stowage boxes and jack block.

This paint scheme is definitely something different and hope it will scale up to 1/6th.

thanks for the input tim and richie, the biggest part of this build will be the infra red sighting system and making it look correct, an intricate part allround not sure how to set about this item, the paintwork is a work of art in itself, on looking at the photos i have it is a multi-layered effect with masses of small detail to build up a convincing picture of the tanks combat life. all in make believe land of course ! many thanks simon.

Very interesting 'last days' color scheme. I wasn't even close with the one I was thinking of. Mike Stannard was working on the IR units, perhaps he can help with that part of detail?

panther bump stop! after doing this mod i realised how good kent wiiks is,the original part has a lot of detail, hardly visible when the wheels and tracks are on at this scale, but i wanted to enhance the standard kit part, two down, four to go, regards simon. p.s. thanks for the input

This is the kit part bump stop re-worked, this is the most i could do with it, without having a new one made. Considering as its nearly hidden, is it worth the effort ?

trial fitted the wheels for clearance of the bump stop because they are slightly wider now, all ok, started on the lathe to add more detail to the wheels,one side of the wheels has all the bolt detail while on the other side, nothing at all. i'm going to try and add the bolts to the plain side thats on show,and if i get keen the lot, regards simon .

This is the first inner wheel detail that i have done, compared to the kit one. Seven more to go.
