Hi Nick,

The tank looks great, very envious that you have it finished and able to take it out for a play.

Regards,

Sarah

machinegun mods

Post by Nick Farrugia »

Hi to everybody
havent been out with the tank over the weekend ,so no new pics . I thought
i would show you a modification i have done to the hull machinegun.
Image
Image
Image
It works off the motor onto a pulley wheel driven by a rubber O ring
when the motor turns it turns the wheel whitch pulls and pushes a rod that
has been atached to the rear end of the machinegun ,thus making the gun go
from left to right.I did it this way so there isnt any extra motors or servos
or channels used,it works very well and it moves automaticly when ever you
move the turret .The gun sound is operated as normal with turret moving or not. This may not be to everybodys liking ,but i have found it very good.
Hope this is of interest to some of you it is very easy to set up.
best wishes nick

Hi Nick, that's a great running ground, your Panzer looks at home there, and performed faultlessly, even though the terrain was quite harsh, well done

panzer 111 video

Post by Nick Farrugia »

Hi jeff
thanks for your input , mutch appreciated .I dont know how long
i have got on this paticulare running ground before the dreded bulldozers
get here and i dont think one pz111 can hold them back ,so i think a tactical
withdrawl will be nessesary.
best wishes
nick

WOW very impressive, excellent video. Your Pz III looks good, the camo looks great and blends in well with the area.
Your heart had to skip a few beats going up that hill about a minute into the video, nice save.

Hello mike

Hi Nick
Another Great vidio to your collection
You will have to train your Dad on the camera Job so you get more driving

I'm thinking of re land scaping my garden to look like your Tunisia.

I dont have trouble with dog mines
