Just a few photos of the tiger i aquired from steve winstone, layed in his garden for 4 years. My aim is to turn it into a very early tiger with the vented exhaust heat shields, rounded rear mud guards and track holding mounts on the rear hull. The weathering is by mother nature.
Simon Manning
As Simon will know, this is one of the first Armortek mid tigers, it actual belonged to he who must not be named! cryptic I know It is based on Michael Wittman's Tiger at Kursk. same unit as mine different Zug, however, mine has survived a lot better than Dave's! Ups
Steve,
I knew you said it was weathering down nicely, but I didn't think you meant to a rusting hulk

Hi Paul
I was hoping he who should not be mentioned was gonna come and pick it up but under duress from the wife who wanted her garden back and simon and after 4 years I had to finally let it go, and as you can see its more distressd than weathered
Yes Richie, In the Grey Box there is a blank firing 9mm revolver, some of the parts are missing from the recall, the box is made of 16 gage steel, and the first time it was fired it blow the box up like a baloon, and I could not believed the power behind a blank could do this
This tiger was one of the very first ones.Ex Dave Griffiths one. It was around when Vince Abbott was running his.
Bit of a sorry state now,
Lee
