2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY
Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.
We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.
Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Prototype Build Log- updated 8th April new photos.
Hi all
Over the course of the next three months we will be regularly posting photos and updating you with the progress of the construction of the Comet prototype.
The link below will take you to a page in the Armortek gallery with the first of these photos. We have started with the suspension parts and the final drive gears. The multi part layout gives an indication of the models Christie suspension. The turret front shown is work in progress and requires further operations to complete.

Mark,
I'm looking forward to seeing the prototype come together. The comet is a really nice looking design. My compliments on the simple design of the models suspension. I didn't realize the comet had a pull type spring arrangement of the swing arm. Great looking parts - I wish I had the same toys you do to make stuff with!
I'm sure Gill is not looking forward to packing and shipping them though.

We have posted the second batch of photographs showing the prototype parts for the new Comet. They include wheel hubs, idler hub, return roller housings, glacis plate, inner and outer side plates and a selection of brackets. We have now received all the laser cut parts for the model. These were held up due to the bad weather, but we can now form these up and begin assembly work.

Hi Mark
Will you have a running prototype of the Comet at Shepton Mallet in April?
Look forward to seeing you there.

I have personally given up hope that politicians who never experienced war first hand will ever realise that war is the worst of all possible alternatives.

Hi all,
I have ordered the Comet and awaiting his arrival, I would collect some documentation about it.
Can someone tell me where to find books or publications in online shops ?
I searched on Landmark Military Books, but I have found nothing
Thank you for help

Hi Alfredo.
I too have a Comet on order.
The best book for reference photographs is probably:
Armor PhotoGallery #20
British Cruiser Tank A34 COMET.
Dick Taylor & Chris Hughes
ISBN 978-83-60672-07-5
Here is the UK Amazon link for it: http://tiny.cc/4Kpwx

Chris Hughes also sells a CD of his Comet pictures (CD #14) through his website: http://www.toadmanstankpictures.com/
The price is a very reasonable $7.99 + p&p
