Nord-West KampfGruppe Delamere Forest 28th February 2010
Hi All,
After our successful meeting yesterday myself and Duncan will be going back to Delamere Forest on Sunday 21st February (Weather permitting). ALL are very welcome to join us. It's a great place to test the tanks capabilties with loads of hills, paths, lumps & bumps and on relatively soft ground too. We found it ideal for the tanks to turn and run. Not as heavy turning as on the grass so the batteries last a little longer. We'll probably meet up at around 10.00am again and I'll bring a selection of bacon/sausage toasties. There's a cafe in Delamere too for hot snacks & drinks if needed. I'll post up again nearer the time once I have the predicted weather forecast. Map link to location: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl
Thanks Ant

Delamere Forest Meet
Hi guys,
Good to hear Steve and Richie are interested, and can understand it's too far Clive, see you at Carnforth next.I'll make every effort to get KT ready for 21st, nearly finished zimmerit,,looks great if I say so myself.
Forest is good as Ant says. There is less drag on the tracks on the dead leaves etc, so get less track breaks. It's just like 'the Ardennes', (in your imagination).
Look forward to seeing anyone else who can make it.
Cheers

KT progress report
Hi Richie,
Hows things, Lisa's bump an all.
My KT - well it's been too cold in the garage to do much over winter, but I am now back on track.
I've zimmerited the turret, and now moving on to the hull. Even if I can't get it all painted by 21st, I will bring it with anyway. So yes she looks a bit wierd at the moment, red oxide where you painted, aluminium bits and then white zimmerit--like something of another planet.
Hope to see yoiu at Delamere.
Cheers

Hi Ant,
I am sorry I'm going to let you down, I have to work this weekend, we're short staffed! Apparently you can't do enough for a good firm nothing to do with I have no choice, gutted
Mind you the money will come in handy!
