Question on fixing the bump stops to the hull side

Post by David Da Costa »

The lower hole on the bump stop has a countersunk hole as does the matching hole on the hull inside. However, the coutersunk M3x10 bolt has to have the coutersink on the inside of the hull side so that it does not interfere with the suspension bar.

Why is the lower bump stop hole coutesunk? Is this an error?

Good question, though it doesn't interfere with the hex nut (assuming the hex nut is meant to be there.)

Mark has confirmed that the countersink on the bump stops is not required and that a washer should be used under the nut.
