Hi to all,

here are some pictures from the muzzle brakes, delivery is running now.

!!! Warning !!! Please note !!! Warning !!!

The muzzle brake is not qualified under no circumstances to be used with any sort of real or blank firing devices. Any such use is a strong violation against every rule and law in conjunction with firing devices. We take over no responsibility in this case for any damages on property and injuries on human beings.
Every customer need to assure us of taken note of these advices.

If its not going to be made out of metal, I wouldnt think it a good match with the blank firing device :shock:

Lovely work Hugo, your Tiger II will look fantastic.

But to fit these muzzle brakes to Armortek´s gun you would also need some type of adapter.

Hi Guys

This is beautiful work, but is completely out of the question for use with the blank firer. It would be destroyed first shot and would be directly against the conditions of sale and use of the blank firing device. Sorry to be a spoil sport, but we have to be very clear on any issue to do with the blank firing device.

Hi to all,

these muzzle brakes are never made for use with the blank firing device.

The muzzle brakes are absolutely to scale models of the original ones in high museum quality and in no sense a toy or a tool for real/blank shooting.

In addition we must fabricate our kits according to the laws in Germany, where blank firing is not allowed.

Any use of the muzzle brakes with whatever shooting devices is an exclusion of warranty. We take over no responsibility in this case for damages on property and injuries on human beings.

Hugo,

In my opinion(not that anyone asked) I think it would be a shame if you were to no longer offer these parts. I'd like to think that there is some comon sense remaining in the world and to use one of your brakes with any type of firing unit would be foolish.

Must agree with all others.
If someone is foolish to use this with the blank firer they must be out of their mind!!!

Im going to put on the original when using the firer.
This piece is so magnificent, i wouldent risk having it blown to pieces wich it most certainly be!!!.
Security always comes first!!.

Hi guys,

I am not really into English law on product liability, but I can imagine that if an accident would ever happen with the blank firer for whatever reason, the permission to manufacture,sell or own this product would be withdrawn immediately.
And let us not forget the damage such an event would bring to the Armortek brandname and Mark and Gill personally.
I don't think anyone would want to be responsible for something like that.

Hugo,

Perhaps a solution would be to offer a replacement barrel to go with your excellent muzzelbrake.Turn it up from solid aluminium with only a few cm behind the brake drilled out for appearance. Leave the mantlet end solid. Stick "Not compatible with Blank Firer option" notices all over the box and instructions.

Even the thickest of our bretheren would get the message!

Mark will probably quote chapter and verse, but the issue comes down to that no part of the model may become a "projectile" by being separated due to the force of the detonation of the blank.

This is a Firearms Act issue rather than general Health And Saftey hysteria. I think it far more likley that someone or their kid is going to lose a finger in a rotating sprocket, especially in a tight track setup like the Sherman. You have been warned!
