Can someone smarter than me in electronics explain if one or two sets of external charge points is needed to charge the two 12V batteries? I want to make some hidden charge points for both Sherman and Panther but cannot figure out if I need four (one + and - for each battery x2) or is only one set (one +/one -) needed?
Thanks, any photos or suggestions appreciated..
Bob

CONNECTIONS
The attached photos show the inside connection and external lead from my battery charger.
The coloured wires are nothing to do with it.
The thick single wire to the left of the internal connection and connected to it is a 2 core wire running to the battery positive and negative terminals.

Great information guys. Thanks for the advice and pictures of your various set ups.
Sounds like the first thing I need to do is get a 24V charger!
Richie that is a really clean set up. The 12V is for lights, sound or accessories? I like the plugs in the isolated plastic boxes. Great idea.
Graham, I really like the idea of a single charge point. So the tip of the barb fitting is a different polarity than the side body? Like a microphone jack.
Thanks all for posting.
